Hello everyone, I have a 98 CLK320 without the bose system and a factory 6 disk changer. I recently installed a Panasonic head unit to replicate the factory tape deck in the car. Instead of hard wiring i bought harness from SCOCHE (item number VWk1B per the advice of the SCOSCHE representative. They did not have a wire harness specific for the clk but they told me that the VW01 The wiring didn't seem to be too complicated, I just followed the instructions. I did not bypass the factory amplifer.  I have power to the CD player and the Tuner on the aftermarket system works perfectly, however I cannot get any sound when I hit CD, or try to play my Ipod through the Ipod input.

As a sanity check, I took the radio out of my wife's car which is a Sony and I know all of the functions are working and I tried this and again no sound on the CD player (no ipod input on her radio) but the tuner is recognized and works perfectly.

Has anyone seen this before ?
