2000 C280 With 70,000 miles. Today I was driving down a back road when it slipped out of drive and into N. I pulled over and put it back in Drive but it just reved and would not go. I turned the car off and put it in drive and it woked fine. What happined?

Don''t tell me, let me guess...The transmission has never been serviced, right?

no it has been serviced. It only did it twice for some reason. Hasnt happined again.

I know that diagnostic time is expensive but it would be good to have the unit scanned. In addition to Mercedes dealers, Bosch service centers can scan the trans for you.
