Can anyine give me some insight as to how to change the brake pads on a 1991 300E?

This is not a difficult task on these cars. MB engineers really did get it right on Brake Pads replacement. Normal Mechanic steps to do, nothing hard here. Just be careful and follow repair guidelines. I use
http://www.alldatadiy.com/ . Well worth the small costs per year to have these repair instructions. I have replaced my brake pads twice since ownership in 2001. Brake pad wear sensors should be also replaced as normal maintenance when replacing pads, just to be sure, and they are not expensive at all. Let us know if we can help. These heavy cars need new brake pads on a planned, replacement basis.
