’86 420 SEL Tail Lights

Above car has no working taillights when head lights are on. Brake lights and side-markers work. First time I apply brakes after starting , the lamp failure warning indicator comes on and stays on. How to troubleshoot?

chech the connections at the taillight...!!

u might find corrosion or rust....clean all the sockets after u disconect them...

use to have the same prob...
